Our journey began in Hong Kong in 2019, when Martin Ferrand, the founder of WND, was working as a Marketing Manager for Starboard, a leading brand in the watersports industry. While assisting various businesses on the side, particularly in the F&B industry, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, throwing the hospitality sector into turmoil. With digital marketing becoming the only lifeline for many restaurants and hotels, businesses turned to WND for help. This demand marked the rise of WND, quickly gaining recognition for its ability to keep businesses afloat during the crisis.
What started locally soon expanded to Bangkok, Indonesia, and Singapore, as WND grew internationally. By 2021, WND was delivering marketing solutions across 11 countries. In that same year, Martin met Yohana Kristanti, who now serves as the company's director. With over a decade of experience in photography and videography in Indonesia, Yohana’s creative expertise became a key component of WND.
As the demand for digital marketing grew, so did the need for high-quality content. WND responded by integrating a creative arm into the business, offering clients comprehensive solutions in one place. This approach simplified the process for clients, providing both digital marketing and content creation, including photos, videos, and editing, under one roof.
As the company continues to evolve, WND is committed to staying ahead of the curve. We put great importance on embracing the latest technologies, including artificial intelligence, to deliver optimized and cutting-edge marketing solutions for our clients.
